GOLF CART TRAFFIC

As some of you may have heard from Tony and myself, we will be implementing a new golf cart traffic flow program to alleviate stress in high traffic areas that are not currently regulated. The 90 degree program does not seem to work as you can see in this picture. With this process, we can get rid of unsightly rope and stakes if followed by all golfers.
The gate system will have an entrance and exit to the hole. The picture above is the entrance. Many of the areas that struggle are around greens and tees. With the gate system, you will keep your cart on the path until you reach the entry gate (two posts with a green top) and enter the hole at this point. Once you enter, please do your best to keep cart traffic to the fairway and out of the rough.
Once you reach the signs in the fairways, follow the arrow direction and you will leave the fairway through the exit gate post. From here you will stay on the cart path the remainder of the hole. We will move them on a daily basis to distribute the wear and tear of golf cart usage appropriately. We thank you in advance in adopting the new process and ask that you adhere to it at all times.

Below are some pictures of areas that are struggling due to golf carts. The gate system, if followed by everyone will alleviate this issue.

Your’s in turf,

Great idea. I’m a member of another golf club that uses the gate system. Works well and the members adhere to the requirements.
