We were fortunate to get sod installed on #5 and #15 this week. The schedule for the next sod delivery is for 8/21 and 8/22. We could possibly see some on the 18th if they receive any cancellations. Next week’s schedule is for Tuesday thru Saturday due to an outing on Monday to keep the project on schedule.
During the upcoming week you will see finish shaping taking place on #12, #6 and #7. The #6 fairway bunker complexes have some rough shaping to be fine-tuned and that work will move to #11. Along with that we will start removing sod from disturbance zones on #16 and possibly #10.
As we stated last week, the signal for new bunkers to be in play is the installation of new bunker rakes. Until then please take a free drop from your nearest point of relief.

Along with the construction work, we will continue the process of getting the fairway height turf around greens and bunkers on #3, #4, #13, and #14 mowed down to desired height. We will begin this procedure at #2 and the left side of #15 green this week.
Another project you see being implemented is the removal of the deteriorating Cypress trees at the east end of the parking lot along Arnold Drive. This is the first step to improve the aesthetics of the club entrance.
Please be aware that the Driving Range will be closed for the entire day on Monday, August 21st, to perform required maintenance.
The short game and putting green will be available at 10:00 am.
Yours in turf,
Stacy L. Wallace
