Below is a list of the projects accomplished during the week of the 14th:
- Green aeration/thatch management. This process took the most time and labor during the four-day period.
- Aeration/seeding of all the new sod areas on #11 and additional seeding on the entire fairway.
- Replaced 2500 square feet of sod in areas that include 2 green surround, 3 tee surround, 6 cart path edges, 8 green surround, 16 fairway and approach, and some areas near the cart staging area at the clubhouse.
- Continued aeration/seeding of the new sod areas #8 and #18.
- Bunker surround grooming.
- Started the process to install a new drinking station near the 6/13 tee area.
As we move towards November, we will continue aerating the rough and the new sod from the bunker project and bring in new sod to replace problem areas. Another upcoming project is to add drainage in the low area of the rough at hole #11 on the left side by the new fairway bunkers. The change of terrain has created a wet spot so we will add drainage to rectify this situation.
