As we roll into July, the power infrastructure for the new pumphouse is finally moving forward. The underground portion is installed and inspected with approval. The next phase will be the PG&E installation of their equipment. Once that is complete, our electrician can move forward. We are still waiting on PG&E’s timeline.
Another procedure you may have noticed last week was the overseeding of #2 and #3 fairways. The annual Poa annua on these particular fairways was struggling due to past heat spells, compaction and disease. We used a more desirable bentgrass that will be more sustainable under those conditions versus the Poa annua. We will continue this overseeding throughout the golf course as time permits.
